A Baroque style church finished in the 15th century, it’s not going to blow you away with its exterior. The front side is ecorated with pilasters and has a central portal with a curved pediment surmounted by a broken window. It’s not much.

But inside this highly modest building are some truly stunning works of art.

Don’t judge a book by its cover and keep an eye out for the 18th century painting ‘Madonna ed il Cristo in gloria con i Santi Gregorio, Nicola da Tolentino e Girolamo’.

The work is joined by three logs that are carried in a procession with a beautiful wooden crucifix on the Feast of the Holy Cross (May 3).
