castell'azzara-chiesa-Vinattieri-MatteoAlso known as the Chiesa della Madonna del Rosario, this church is located in Piazza Cesare Battisti in Castell'Azzara and was built in the first half of the 16th century.

Simply designed, the church's interior is home to some stunning 16th century works from the Sienese school including the 'Madonna del Rosario', 'the S.S Domencio', and 'Caterina da Siena' - all painted by local artists.

The remaining walls are covered in frescoes, which are, in comparison to many other churches in the area, very well preserved.
